Nigerian Army 90th Regular Recruit Intake

The Nigerian Army has officially announced the commencement of applications for the Nigerian Army 90th Regular Recruit Intake (RRI). This recruitment is open to both Tradesmen/Women and Non-Tradesmen/Women who are interested in joining the Nigerian Army as soldiers and Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs).

Eligible Categories for the Nigerian Army 90th Regular Recruit Intake

  • Non-Tradesmen/Women – For applicants with basic academic qualifications.

  • Tradesmen/Women – For applicants with Trade Test/City & Guild Certificates or other relevant trade qualifications.

Basic Requirements for the Nigerian Army 90th Regular Recruit Intake

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be Nigerian citizens by birth.

  • Be single, medically fit, and physically fit.

  • Age requirement: 18–22 years for Non-Tradesmen/Women and 18–26 years for Tradesmen/Women.

  • Have valid academic qualifications (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB for Non-Trades; Trade Test/City & Guild for Trades).

How to Apply for the Nigerian Army 90th Regular Recruit Intake

  1. Visit the official Nigerian Army recruitment portal  https://recruitment.army.mil.ng/

  2. Create an account and log in.

  3. Fill out the application form correctly.

  4. Upload and print out all necessary documents including your guarantor’s form.

  5. Attend the screening exercise at your state centre with the required credentials.

Selection Process

  • After Online application via the Nigerian Army Recruitment Portal.

  • Print and complete the application form and guarantor’s form.

  • Report to the designated state screening centre with all original credentials for physical screening.

Training & Location

Successful candidates will undergo military training at the Depot Nigerian Army, Zaria, and other designated centres.

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for further screening.

  • Any false information will lead to automatic disqualification.

Application Deadline

 The online application closes on 14th November, 2025. Late entries will not be accepted.
