The UMTH Recruitment 2025 has officially announced the commencement of its 2025/2026 recruitment exercise for interested and qualified applicants.

The University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) has officially opened its recruitment portal for medical, technical, and administrative positions. In a statement released by the hospital management, UMTH confirmed that the new vacancies are aimed at strengthening service delivery and improving healthcare operations across various departments.

According to the notice, “Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following posts in the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.”

Available Positions For UMTH Recruitment 2025

UMTH is recruiting candidates into several professional categories, including senior, mid-level, and technical roles.

1. Medical Positions (CONMESS)

• Consultants (CONMESS 5) – Surgery, Anaesthesia, Oncology
  Requirements: MBBS or equivalent, FWACS/FWACP or approved fellowship, full MDCN registration.

• Registrars (CONMESS 3)
  Requirements: MBBS/BDS, completed housemanship & NYSC, enrollment/eligibility for residency training.

• Medical Officers & Dental Officers (CONMESS 3)
  Requirements: MBBS/BDS, MDCN registration, internship & NYSC completion/exemption.

2. Health Professionals (CONHESS 9)

• Pharmacists

• Physiotherapists

• Radiographers

Requirements: Relevant degree, valid professional licence, internship & NYSC.

3. Administrative & Technical Roles (CONHESS 7)

• Planning Officer II

• Scientific Officer II

• Information & Public Relations Officer II

• Program/System Analyst II

Requirements: Good first degree in relevant fields and NYSC completion.

4. Other Professional Roles
