The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, has officially opened its application portal for admission into the NDA 78 Regular Course (78RC). This opportunity is open to male and female Nigerians who wish to serve as commissioned officers in the Nigerian Army, Navy, or Air Force.

Is the NDA 78RC Application Form 2026 Out?

Yes. The NDA 78 Regular Course admission form is now available. Applications opened on Friday, 28 November 2025, and will close on 30 April 2026. All applications must be completed online via the official portal www.ndaapplications.net.

NDA 78 Regular Course Application Form Fee

  • The application form costs ₦7,000 (Seven Thousand Naira only).

  • Payment must be made via REMITA after generating an RRR code from the NDA application portal.

  • Payments made outside the official portal will not be accepted.

NDA 78 Regular Course Admission Requirements (2026/2027)

To qualify for the NDA 78RC, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Nigerian citizenship by birth.

  • Medically and physically fit with good moral character (no criminal record).

  • Single, with no children or dependents.

  • Valid Certificate of Indigeneship from your state or local government.

  • Age: At least 17 years and not more than 21 years by August 2026.

  • Minimum height: Male 1.68 m, Female 1.65 m.

  • O’Level results: Minimum of 5 credits including English and Mathematics (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE) in not more than two sittings, obtained within the last 5 years.

  • Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.

  • JAMB UTME requirement: Minimum score of 210 for Engineering courses, 180 for other courses.

  • Knowledge of French, Arabic, or Mandarin is an added advantage.

How to Apply for the NDA 78 Regular Course

  1. Visit the NDA portal at www.ndaapplications.net.

  2. Click “Purchase Access Code” and fill in your details.

  3. Pay the ₦7,000 application fee via REMITA.

  4. Complete the online form, ensuring all sections are filled accurately.

  5. Upload your O’Level results (WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB).

  6. After submission, print your Acknowledgement Form and Screening Test Admission Card (if you meet the JAMB cut-off).

NDA Screening Test Date (Phase One)

  • The NDA screening begins on Saturday, 6 June 2026 for candidates who:

    • Met the JAMB cutoff mark

    • Fulfill all NDA requirements above

Items to Bring to the Screening Test

  • Acknowledgement Form

  • Screening Test Admission Card

  • JAMB Result Slip

  • Two (2) passport-sized photos (3.5 x 5 inches)

Only successful candidates from Phase One proceed to the Armed Forces Selection Board for the Phase Two part of the selection.
