This is to inform students who applied for Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) that they can follow the these steps to check their loan application, and also check if the funds have been sent to their institutions.
Below are the steps to follow:
1. Log in to the NELFUND Portal.
2. Enter student email and password to login.
3. Navigate to the Loan Section, on the Menu tab, click on “Loans” to view the details and status of the Loan(s) you applied for.
4. Check Your Loan Status:
On the dashboard, you’ll see the history of your loan applications along with their current status. If the loan status indicate “Disbursed”, It means the funds have been sent to student’s institution. Clickv”View” to view more details.
5. Download Proof of Disbursement:
After confirming that the loan has been disbursed, beneficiaries will now see the full details of the disbursed fund.
Click the “Download” to get a copy of the disbursement confirmation. This document can be presented to your institution as proof of payment.
